New Medicare Advantage Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) On-Demand Training Available on our Website!

 

Avisery is pleased to release a free 20-minute recorded training to help professionals prepare for the launch of Medicare Advantage Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP) next year.  Click here to view the recorded training and to access other resources on D-SNPs.  (Registration required.)

 

Why D-SNPs? 

Integrated health coverage options for Illinois' dually eligible residents will be changing in 2026. The Medicare Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) program will end on December 31, 2025. Illinois is replacing MMAI plans with D-SNPs beginning January 1, 2026.  

 

This Avisery on demand training covers the basics of what a D-SNP is and how these plans will work in Illinois. Topics covered include D-SNP eligibility, enrollment, and benefits. The content of this training is based on information available to Avisery by July 15, 2025.  

 

Coming Up Soon!

Avisery will provide regular updates on the January 2026 launch of D-SNPs as we learn them. Keep an eye out for an Avisery Invite to two additional live trainings to be held in upcoming weeks (Aug. 24th and Sept. 29th) that will cover this material at greater depth.
