Medicare vs Medicare Advantage Guide Updated With 2025 Costs
Avisery announces the release of our "Original Medicare vs. Medicare Advantage: Consideration Checklist for the 2024 Open Enrollment Period" now updated with newly published 2025 Medicare Part A and Part B costs.
The Consideration Checklist is intended for professionals who have not received formal training as Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselors. The document includes a checklist of questions the professional can encourage the beneficiary to consider and an accompanying guide that provides additional background on why these questions should be considered. It may also serve as useful desk aid for more experienced counselors.
The Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released the 2025 costs for Medicare Part A and Part B. This includes both Part A and Part B premiums, deductibles, and cost sharing amounts. Below are some highlighted costs.
- 2025 Part B Monthly Premium: $185 ($174.70 in 2024)
- 2025 Part B Deductible: $257 ($240 in 2024)
- 2025 Part A Deductible: $1,676 ($1,632 in 2024)
