Over the years, Avisery has been your trusted partner, providing free expert guidance on eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and costs of Medicare, Medicaid, and other health benefits programs to professionals across Illinois. From the birth of the “Make Medicare Work” Coalition after the introduction of Medicare Part D in 2006 to navigating today’s rapidly changing healthcare landscape, our Avisery specialists have consistently delivered solutions to the most challenging issues, ensuring you are equipped to help your clients and patients access the affordable health coverage they need.
While our commitment to supporting professionals has never wavered, we realized that our term “technical assistance” didn’t quite capture the essence of what we offer, nor did it effectively communicate how we can help. Inspired by other successful rebrands, we are excited to unveil a fresh, new name for the service you’ve relied on for years!

Who can submit an “Ask the Expert” request?
Any Illinois professional who serves older adults or adults with disabilities in Illinois can consult with an Avisery specialist on topics related to Medicare, Medicaid, and other health benefits programs. Past participation in an Avisery training is not required, and the service is completely free. Note that due to capacity limitations, Avisery may need to prioritize requests coming from the non-profit sector.

Avisery specialists can be reached via email by sending a request to avisery@ageoptions.org or by calling 708-628-3440. We ask only that you do not email client identifying information unless you can use a secure email service or otherwise redact sensitive information. An Avisery specialist will respond usually within 48 business hours.
